What's Available?
At May Tree Counseling, we provide trauma-informed care for individuals impacted by experiences that disrupted safety, trust, or a sense of self. Our work focuses on trauma recovery and narcissistic abuse, with the understanding that anxiety, emotional distress, and dissociation often emerge in response to relational or systemic harm. Care is evidence-based, neurodivergent-affirming, and grounded in taking your experiences seriously—without rushing, minimizing, or pathologizing what you’ve lived through.

Trauma and PTSD Recovery
We work with individuals whose experiences overwhelmed their nervous system or disrupted their sense of safety and trust. The focus is on processing and integrating what happened in a way that restores stability and internal orientation—at a pace that respects the depth of your experience.

Anxiety and Mood Disorders
Anxiety, low mood, and emotional reactivity often develop as learned survival responses in unsafe or unpredictable environments. These patterns reflect adaptation, not weakness. Our work supports these responses in softening over time so they no longer dominate how you experience yourself or the world.

Narcissistic Abuse Recovery
Narcissistic abuse often involves control, manipulation, and reality distortion that erode self-trust over time. Recovery begins by naming what happened and separating your identity from the harm—supporting clarity, agency, and emotional steadiness at a pace that feels contained.
Reclaiming Your Voice
Our work supports restoring a sense of self that may have been disrupted by control, silencing, or emotional manipulation. We focus on rebuilding self-trust and internal steadiness so your voice and perspective can take shape without fear or self-doubt.
